XXIV. International Conference on Separation Chemistry and Toxic Substances Analysis

MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR - General Directorate of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic Population Protection Institute under the auspices of the Deputy General Director of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic for Prevention and Civil Emergency Preparedness and in cooperation with the University of Pardubice – Faculty of Chemical Technology organizes XXIV. International Conference on Separation Chemistry and Toxic Substances Analysis.

  • analysis of inorganic and organic toxic substances in the environment and toxicology in emergencies with release of dangerous substances,
  • approaches applied for prevention of major accidents and within preparedness of responsible units,
  • methods of separation and analysis of inorganic and organic toxic substances in the environment and toxicology,
  • methods and means of decontamination,
  • analysis of toxins and biological warfare agents,
  • a new instrumental technique for analysis of radionuclides, inorganic and organic toxic substances, toxins, and biological warfare agents,
  • individual and collective population protection

Accommodation of participants: at the Institute hostel, preferably active participants and co-authors.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

We will be happy to include the results of your work in the conference program, either in the form of an original communication, brief information, summary paper or poster.

Basic Instructions For Authors

Basic Instructions For Authors

The output of the conference will be in a form of reviewed proceedings. Papers to the review process will be accepted in Czech, Slovak or English language. Electronic Proceedings (with ISBN) compiled exclusively from English written, positively reviewed papers will be sent for indexing to the Web of Science. Papers written in Czech and Slovak language, which will be positively reviewed, will be compiled in an electronic proceeding with ISBN.

Basic guidelines for authors are provided below. In case of uncertainty regarding to formal presentation of your paper we recommend to follow the instructions for authors in the journal "Chemical sheets" .

Instructions for writing:
TITLE: Czech and English, Times New Roman, size 14, in bold.
FIRST AUTHORa , SECOND LECTURERb , and THIRD AUTHORa , Times (Times New Roman, size 12, bold).
Authors' names are given in full. Author presenting the message is underlined. Authors from different workplaces are distinguished by a letter index.

a Co-authors workplace, address, postcode city, e-mail.
b Lecturer's workplace, address, city code, e-mail (italics, size 12). Workplace addresses in full, including e-mail addresses. If the authors are from several workplaces, it will be done their assignment using letter superscripts.

PAPER TEXT
LITERATURE (in order of numbering in the text)

  • Submit your paper no later than 31 July 2024.
  • Word text editor, post text: Times New Roman, normal font, size 12, simple line spacing.
  • Chapter titles in bold letters, size 12. Border width 2.5 cm with justification on one side only.
  • Text in only one column (that is, for the entire width of the paper).
  • It is desirable to follow typographic rules – after a comma and a dot is always a space, a dash is separated by two spaces, the text inside the brackets continues without a space.
  • Insert pictures and equations directly into text. Each image or table must be numbered in the text. Table title above table, legend to picture below picture.
  • Citation: references to a resource using numbers in square brackets.
  • If you are not sure, please follow the convention of "Chemical sheets".
  • By submitting his / her paper, author grants the publisher permission to publish it in Czech and other languages in the Czech Republic and abroad, in electronic and paper form, and agrees with publication of his / her identification data.
  • From legal point of view, author is responsible for content of the paper and for not including information subject to confidentiality under the applicable law.
  • Author is responsible for content and factual correctness of a text in language in which it is written, including spelling. There is no language adjustment for all submissions.
