Flood situation in the Czech Republic
Intensive rainfall in whole area of the Czech Republic cause rapid increase of river levels. During Saturday evening 1 June 2013 small rivers and after that also bigger rivers start to overflow. Third level of flood activity were reached in Pilsen Region, South-Bohemian Region, Middle-Bohemian Region, Královéhradecký Region and Ústecký Region. Translation: Iva Brejzová

Prague
Vltava River and Berounka River have culminated on 4th June and the water is decreasing by now. But there is still third level of flood activity due to little draining of dams (there are precipitations expected next week). FRS units are intervening and pumping with High Capacity pumps. Some of the underground stations has been opened.
Southbohemian Region
Third level of flood activity is still on 10 stations and 8 rivers. State of emergency is announced for 13 regions (97 villages are affected).
Lužnice River is expected to culminate today in the morning. Nežárka River is also expected to rise a little bit today. It will culminate on higher level than it was expected. Water levels on other rivers are decreasing.
The third level of flood activity is still announced in the region. Water level on Berounka River is decreasing in all areas. There are about 110 villages affected by the floods. The water purification service is out of order. Citizens are supplied with potable water. Situation is stabilized in this area.
Královéhradecký Region
46 villages are affected by floods. Monitoring of situation, water pumping, disposal of dead animals, ensuring the supplies electric energy and potable water supplies and other activities are still running. Warning and information of citizens is still running. The situation is stabilized.

- Water pumping units from Vysočina Region has finished their work in Middle-Bohemian region (Davle) and has returned home and is on standby, Water pump units of Pardubický, Liberecký, Zlínský, Karlovarský and South-Moravian Region are on standby,

- Flood Rescue Module using Boats (WASAR) from Moravian-Silesian Region has finished work in Melník and currently is on standby in Kamenice, (their return to the Moravian-Silesian Region is expected today),

- Ground forces and resources for evacuation from Rescue Unit of FRS CR is deployed in Middle-Bohemain Region, Ustecky Region, Kralovéhradecký Region, South-Bohemian Region and in Prague,

- Pyrotechnics from FRB of South-Bohemian Region, Olomoucký Region and Rescue Unit of FRS CR made demolition of pontoon on Vltava River, ground works and demolition of falled bridge in Kralovéhradecký Region. Currently 4 pyrotechnics are on standby in Kamenice and 4 pyrotechnics are part of the unit who make preventive measures to prevent free-floating of the ships on Labe River.

- High capacity pumps MCS 1500 and MCS 400 are deployed in Prague, Middle-Bohemian Region, Ústecký Region and Pilsen Region.

- Czech Army is ready provide assistance in Prague (50 soldiers in operation, 300 on standby),

- Ground brigade in Bechyne, Rescue company Rakovnik are ready to be deployed immediately after the request,

- 80 soldiers of Prague castle guard and headquarters from Prague are going to be deployed this morning,

- Helicopters of Czech Police and Czech Army are prepared at the airport in Prague and Prerov,

- 68.700 pcs sand bags and 37 pcs filling machines,

- 1310 pcs air mattresses and 41 pcs pumps,

- 1568 air dryers.
